When an upload fails

Bulk data goes into Donaraz as CSV files: serial numbers, gift stock and voucher codes. Each upload has its own format and a sample file you can download from the upload dialog.

General rules

The first row holds the column names, exactly as shown below (case-sensitive).
Use a comma as separator. Put a value in double quotes when it contains a comma.
Save as UTF-8 so accents and special characters survive.
One row per serial, variant or code. Empty rows are ignored.

Exporting from Excel? Use Save as → CSV UTF-8 (Comma delimited). In Google Sheets use File → Download → CSV.

Serial numbers

Upload on a serial product (Products → Serials → your product → Upload CSV).

Serials already on the product are skipped. The retailer name is stored as written; tidy up spelling differences afterwards under Sales Channels.

Gift stock and variants

Upload on a gift product to add variants and stock in one go.

Voucher codes

Upload one unique code per row. Each approved claim receives one code.

When an upload fails

Problem	Fix
“Failed to read CSV”	The file isn’t plain CSV (for example an .xlsx renamed to .csv). Export it again as CSV UTF-8.
Nothing is created	Check the header row: column names must match exactly.
Everything is skipped	The serials or codes already exist on this product.
Strange characters	The file isn’t UTF-8. Export again with UTF-8 encoding.
