The Claim Page
What claimants see, languages, uploads, address lookup and bot protection.
On this page
The claim page is the public page your customers use to submit a claim. It carries your branding, adapts to the promotion’s settings and works well on phones, where most claims come from.
What claimants see
- Your header with your logo, and the promotion banner, title and description.
- The claim form — only the fields this promotion needs:
- name, email and (for physical gifts) address and phone;
- serial number with your hint, and proof-of-purchase upload;
- retailer picker, when turned on;
- gift choice, when claimants may pick a gift or bundle;
- bank details, only on cashback promotions;
- terms and (optional) marketing consent.
- A confirmation page after submitting, and a confirmation email with a link to the status page.
Languages
Claim pages are available in English, Dutch, German and French. The link carries a language-country code such as nl-nl or de-de:
- Visitors whose browser or country suggests another language see a small switch banner in their language. They can always stay or pick another language in the header.
- You can set a company default under Settings → Email templates (default public locale).
- Emails follow the language the claimant used on the form.
Uploads
Claimants can drag a file onto the upload area or tap to pick one (on phones this opens the camera or gallery). Allowed: JPG, PNG, WEBP, GIF and PDF. They see a preview right away, so they can check the photo is readable before submitting.
Address lookup
When enabled, the street field suggests full addresses as the claimant types, limited to the promotion’s countries. Picking a suggestion fills in number, postal code and city — all still editable. Claimants can always type the address by hand.
Validation and errors
Fields are checked as claimants go (for example a missing @ in the email or a wrong IBAN). If submitting fails, a message at the top of the form explains why and the field in question is highlighted. While the claim is being sent the button shows progress, so it can’t be submitted twice.
Bot protection
The form is protected by an invisible or one-click human check (Cloudflare Turnstile). The submit button becomes available once the check passes. Claims from the Shopify theme block use Shopify’s own bot protection instead.
When the claim period is over
After the end of the claim period the form closes and claimants see that the promotion has ended. Your team can still add a claim for a customer — see Managing Claims.
